Mini lessons can be viewed as class fillers, perfect for when there's thirty minutes. However, the following short lesson plans can also be used to activate preexisting knowledge on a topic, as homework, or to reinforce skills like speaking, listening, reading, or strategies to successfully analyze and process the information for language production.

Additional materials from Heads Up English may also be added to the lesson, thereby lengthening and even enriching the opportunities for comprehension and discussion.
