The Mini Lessons at Heads Up English work as warm ups, fillers, and self-study practice. The teacher can focus on listening, reading, speaking, and vocabulary skills in a short amount of time.
The articles in the Mini Lessons contain about one hundred words. Each mini-lesson also has a warm up activity, an activity to gauge overall comprehension of the article, and a few discussion questions. The Mini Lessons take about thirty minutes or less to conduct, but may be easily extended with supplemental activities at Heads Up English.
