Lower-Intermediate Mini Lessons
Some lessons are short, others need fillers, and larger themes need introductions. The Mini Lessons at Heads Up English fulfill these needs, allowing the teacher to activate listening, reading, speaking, and vocabulary skills in a short amount of time.
The articles in the Mini Lessons contain about one hundred words. Each mini-lesson also has a warm up activity, an activity to measure comprehension of the article, and discussion questions. The lessons may also be assigned as homework, perhaps to prepare for a similarly-themed topic. The short lessons take about thirty minutes to conduct, but may be easily extended with supplemental activities at Heads Up English.
