Upper-Intermediate Mini Lessons
Not every class can meet for a full hour or more. Not every class needs a complete and pre-written lesson. Not every class can focus solely on communication.
The Mini Lessons at Heads Up English provide a short article of about one hundred words. Along with the article, there is a warm up activity, comprehension questions, and an opportunity to use the contents of the article in meaningful discussion. And each short lesson takes about thirty minutes or less.
The lessons can be used to introduce a topic, to provide an opportunity to work on some other skills, or even to provide a new and interesting challenge for the students. It also works very well when the teacher only has a short lesson, as other materials at Heads Up English can be added.
